Medical specialist Courtney Howard is drawn to working with people with disabilities, beginning her career in Bridgeway’s residential homes. “I have a soft spot for this population and when this position opened, I jumped at the opportunity to transition into a new role,” she says.
An employee of Bridgeway since 2018, today Courtney oversees the administration of medication and records, trains staff on medication administration, and maintains medication refills with the pharmacy. She finds spending time with the participants both inside and outside of medical appointments is the most rewarding part of her job.
