Jennifer is Bridgeway’s Adult Day Training (ADT) Coordinator, and joined the staff in 2022. She has always enjoyed working with people with intellectual/physical disabilities and strives to be an advocate for them.
“I like spending time with our participants, seeing their smiles and talking with them,” Jennifer says. “I believe that my role is to help improve their quality of life, provide emotional support and guidance, help foster skills for independent living and to connect them with resources in the community.”
Jennifer supervises the ADT program, managing the participants who enjoy their jobs at Bridgeway’s Sweet Creations Bakery and Another Man’s Treasure thrift store. Recently, Bridgeway contracted with Enviroflight and workers are now making packing boxes for its products. After seeing the ways these programs have helped participants grow, Jennifer hopes Bridgeway can contract with other businesses for such work in the future.
